THE BEGINNING
Small Steps. Big Growth.
# My substack Journey Begins
I recently created a new Instagram account with one simple goal: to build a feed filled with self-development content instead of endless doomscrolling.
That’s how I discovered Substack.
My first impression was surprisingly positive. I found it fascinating because, unlike reading a book which often requires dedicated time substack articles are short enough leaving you with the feeling that you’ve learned something meaningful. It’s like taking a small step toward becoming a better version of yourself every day.
The very first article I read was “You Escape Competition by Figuring Out Who You Are.” I absolutely loved it. One idea that really stayed with me was how we live in a world where so many people are simply copying each other. Social media constantly tells us what we should be doing, what success should look like, and what we’re supposedly missing out on. It traps us in a cycle of comparison and FOMO instead of allowing us to appreciate the present moment.
The article also reminded me that life doesn’t have to be lived under constant pressure. Not everything needs to happen immediately. Sometimes, figuring out who you are is more valuable than trying to keep up with everyone else. There is no real competition when your goal is simply to express your own creativity instead of fitting into someone else’s mold. The most lasting success comes from your most authentic self-expression.
In the end, the article leaves us with a powerful thought: the more you understand yourself, the more you will be understood.
This is just the beginning of my substack journey.
P.S. This is my first post. I wrote it without much preparation because I wanted to encourage myself to start writing instead of waiting for perfection. There are probably mistakes, but that’s okay. I hope to keep writing, learning, and improving , one post at a time.
